As people who have been persecuted for centuries. In modern times, the strait that kill to serve gay very lenient sentences. The message is that we are still fair game for persecution and violence --
The 14th Amendment of the Constitution guarantees equal rights for all groups of citizens.
Anyone who denies the rights of homosexuals or same-sex couples is a violation of civil rights. Discrimination against people because of their gender or sexual orientation violates both the letter and spirit of U.S. law.
I think his remarks may be stronger if you were talking about stories of people's lives
