I have PCOS and I have an IUD, Mirena, which is specific. I did not have a period of 3 years to help my symptoms. Perhaps a pill like seasonale, where you have a period 4 times a year. Are you on metformin? This can help you to deal with weight problems. I suggest you see an endocrinologist for PCOS because they are generally more familiar than a physician, a gynecologist.
